Fairly tight seating inside, but I did overhear them saying they are moving to a bigger premises somewhere. Very reasonably priced food, that is quite nice. Excellent and very friendly customer service. Would dine here again.

I was craving unagi when I first entered the restaurant. At first, I thought the restaurant was just a normal sushi bar hidden away next to the flower shop, but then I realized it was an actual restaurant. I went during their closing hour, but the ladies happily served me food. The unagi I ordered was delicious! Overall, I think it’s a great Japanese restaurant. The food is fresh, and everything seems clean and tidy. I will definitely be back to try more dishes.

Not the fanciest of places but the food is pretty good. The battered fish is the best followed by grilled. Not a fan of the steamed fish. Will just order battered next time. Also tried the prawn salad which was good. Expensive but big portion. Update 130825 Had a small fish and chips for $16 and a prawn panko for $3. Batter was crispy and light. Fish was meaty. Chips were crispy and salted just enough. Prawn was crispy but not as meaty. Both had great textures but limited in flavour beyond saltiness. Mayonnaise helped a little but still mostly had a singular taste profile. Might try their tonkatsu next. Very cold inside in winter. No heating at 1230pm.

Seriously delicious Japanese food. Fresh and well made with amazing flavour. The tofu cheesecake desert is a must try. Takoyaki and gyoza was too good, I forgot to take a photo of it!

Small Japanese take-away place with just a couple of indoor and outdoor tables for dining-in. Lunch time sushi and bento boxes are truly awesome and way above average Melbourne quality - economical and good value too!
